Every weekend participants will travel in and around Thailand. One weekend you may find yourself walking the streets of Bangkok, riding an elephant in Chiang Mai, relaxing at a beach resort in Phuket, meditating in a Buddhist monastery in Surrathani, or trekking through the rainforests of Chiang Rai. Traveling in pairs or more is highly recommended. The program manager based in Trang will lead an excursion every weekend, but volunteers are free to travel separately.




One weekend excursion will be hosted by International Programs to Kho Phi Phi Don, a nearby island. Everyone in the program will travel together to the island the second weekend of the program. During the excursion all accommodations will be provided for by the program. Lodging, transportation to the island, meals, and an activity allowance will be provided for volunteers.
